I bought this cord a few months ago and for a while it worked just fine. For around $20 it was a pretty good deal. Then (for absolutely no reason) the wiring started to come off and now the inner wiring is exposed. I contacted the seller to see if I could get a replacement and they replied with:

"How about repay to us $10.00 for a new charger adapter,and we do not need to return it back?"

How about you replace this and NOT charge me a fee for a poorly built product that you sent me.

Got this as a replacement charger and it works well with my Sony Vaio laptop. Wasn't sure it would fit because the one I had was a 2 prong and this was a 3 prong but it fits and works just like the original one.

After my Vaio's Power Supply Die, we went looking on line! to find a replacement for a VGP-AC19V19, then we came along this one while looking around for items and this one is a replacement after a 2yr old VGN-CR510E (Daily use so far i love it the fact its a sony brand replacement, i am just thrilled after weeks of going without a laptop/cord i finally i am able to fix it and i am thrilled to say that it came with in 24-48hrs the VGP-AC19V20 is a good buy for those vaio cr owners that have a power supply with a clicking sound/no lighting no power traveling to the computer.. this is your best buy... it saves you a 135dollars for a replacement cord!! thanks!! i am so happy my mother bought me a replacement cord! its worth the money. after a day's use, i am very pleased for 40 buck its worth the money and it saves you 100 bucks on replacement unit from sony...
